Jay Hupfer is a trial attorney with a wide range of experience. He has handled products liability and insurance-coverage issues, personal injury claims and professional liability cases. Jay represents clients in all phases of litigation, including jury and bench trials, arbitrations, mediations and appeals. He practices in both state and federal courts.

Concerning products liability, Mr. Hupfer understands that while there is no federal products liability law, there are state laws designed to prevent harm and provide compensation for damages or injuries caused by a defective product. Using his experience in many cases, he is able to evaluate medical injuries and determine the best course of action.

Active in the South Carolina Bar Association, Mr. Hupfer is a committee member of the Torts and Insurance Section and spoke at the Bar convention on e-discovery. He is a graduate of Leadership Florence and is on the boards of the Florence chapter of Rebuilding Together and the Florence County Museum.
