Roger Edward Henderson, Jr. was born and raised in Chesterfield, South Carolina. After graduating from Wofford College and the University of South Carolina School of Law, Edward worked at a Bennettsville, South Carolina law firm specializing in personal injury cases, criminal defense, and eminent domain litigation. He then served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Paul M. Burch, Resident Circuit Court Judge in South Carolina’s Fourth Judicial Circuit. After completing his clerkship, Edward served four years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps.
Following his active military service, Edward was an associate attorney at a large civil defense firm, where he gained experience in several diverse areas of litigation in both state and federal courts. His practice is now focused on motor vehicle accident and other personal injury cases, criminal defense, family law, insurance coverage issues, business litigation, employment law, and veterans issues.
Edward is married to Christie Wise Henderson and they have two sons: Hank and George.
